Just a random picture on my way out of work. Time for carwash!

I'm really looking forward to working on those once they come off warranty & find their way through my door.

Is that your car as your profile picture?

I hate modern engine bays, my FoST included. I much prefer engine bays like I have in my truck (although I do need to find some inner fenders

I wish, man. That's one of several '02s I took shots of at the Nurburgring earlier this year. They had an Oldtimer support race for the N24. The green GT40 was there, too. Gotta do a photodump of that. This is the only digital pic I have of it, the day I brought it home from long-term storage some months back:

Looks great. Can't make out the year because bumpers are missing, yet it looks like you have the earlier taillight lenses, but the later license plate lights(not on bumper). Is it a 69?

Thanks! It's a '68, with the longneck rear diff & dogbone axles. Originally Granada Red, but the PO sprayed it a Corvette color. My first one was a '68 1600, and it had the same license lights, so I'm not sure when those came in.

A dipstick on a new Mercedes? That’s odd.

That’s kind of what I figured. They had to save money somewhere I guess.
How is the overall quality of it? Do you think it’s better than some of the Chrysler crap like the 203?

It’s a good car but the client base sure did shift down a bit. Mercedes customers noticed.

Lol that’s funny. That’s the worst thing for a new luxury buyer: rubbing arms with the plebs.
